STD Transformatör’s New 1.3 Billion Lira Investment to Launch in 2026!

Transformer manufacturer STD is making headlines with its two-phase investment project in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone (AOSB). In the first phase, a 24,000-square-meter facility is set to become operational in 2026. The second phase aims to establish a 100,000-square-meter production and testing facility.

According to STD Transformatör General Manager Yiğit Dağoğlu, this investment will increase the company’s annual capacity to 200 MVA and create 105 new jobs. Dağoğlu emphasized the company’s goal of strengthening its presence in European and North American markets. These investments align with STD’s commitment to enhancing sustainability in production and boosting export potential.

“A Solution to Raw Material Dependency in Production”

Dağoğlu highlighted that 80% of the raw materials used in production are currently imported, making local sourcing a key focus. He also emphasized the company’s investment in youth education and development, stating:
“We aim to increase employment in our country, strengthen our industry, and achieve a more competitive position in the global market.”

Ambitious Export Goals

STD Transformatör plans to increase its total exports by 50% by 2028, ensuring that all its products meet global standards. The company continues to stand out as one of the leading firms with the highest export growth in industrial zones, reinforcing its position as a major player in the sector.
